When the red carpet awaits fantastic Hollywood actresses and actors to step on the hall of stars, many reporters begin their interview with almost every artist, where cameras fight against each other about who gets the best shot. Welcome to the second greatest film festival in the world, behind the Oscars, the Golden Globe awards.

clip_image004clip_image006Besides going through an unfortunate “no Golden event year of 2008” due to the writers’ strike, this year already turned out to be a hit of movies in theaters. Brilliant, beautiful artistic performances were shown and given to the public all over the place.

Therefore…And the Golden Globe goes to Salley Hawkins, best performance by an actress in a motion picture –musical or comedy, for “Happy-go-lucky”. And the Golden Globe goes to Colin Farrel, best performance by an actor in a motion picture – musical or comedy, for “In Bruges”.

clip_image008clip_image010clip_image012And the Golden Globe goes to Kate Winslet, best performance by an actress in a supporting role, for “The Reader”. And the Golden Globe goes to Heath Ledger, best performance of an actor in a supporting role for his horrible looking villain in the “Dark Knight” as the joker.

 

clip_image016clip_image018And the Golden Globe again goes to Kate Winslet, best performance by an actress in a motion picture – drama, for “Revolutinay Road”. And the Golden Globe goes to Mickey Rourke, best performance by an actor in a motion picture – drama, for “The Wrestler”.

Furthermore, there were many spetacular directors and great motion pictures over all… And the clip_image020clip_image022Golden Globe goes to Danny Boyle, best director, for “Slumdog Millionaire”. And the Golden Globe goes to “Vickey Cristina Barcelona”, for best motion picture – musical or comedy. Finally, and the Golden Globe goes to “Slumdog millionaire”, for best motion picture – drama.

Not only the people who received trophies, but the nominees were already considered winners. There were many marvelous interpretations. Congratulation to all of you for the hard work and the determination to make all films orginal, criative and unique, which once more enrich the beauty of art.
